Some people get into photography because they want to make money, start a business, shoot weddings, pretty women, exotic locations.

I starting my journey in the mid 1970s at a young child with my father’s Minolta Autocord shooting 120mm film. From there, years passed, camera’s came and went, but I never thought of making money from photography.

Fast forward to the 2000s and people were asking for wedding shoots, headshots, model shoots, event photography. I of course took the jobs, but it was all just technical shootings. Follow the rules and you produce marketable photographs.

What I most enjoy shooting is ambiguity, mundane, ordinary things that I see as somehow art.
I don’t care if others like my photographs, I make images for me.

This site is for all of you that make ordinary photos, mundane, strange, a bit off, different.
For me, that is creating art.
